Ontario, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan Invite Candidates

Ontario, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan Invite Candidates

Saskatchewan, British Columbia (B.C.), and Ontario have issued invitations for provincial immigration to qualified candidates.

Provincial Nominee Programmes (PNPs) are used by 11 of Canada's 13 provinces and territories (excluding Quebec and Nunavut). PNPs enable local governments in each participating region to choose skilled immigrants who they reckon are most qualified to meet labour market needs locally and reduce demographic challenges.

Take Note while the federal and provincial/territorial governments of Canada share responsibility for immigration, it should be noted that Quebec does not have a Permanent Negative Population Policy. This is due to a contract that the local government in that province has with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that gives Quebec more control over economic immigration inside the province.

Ontario | via Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
